Why our kitesurf sessions last three hours

Two 90-minute blocks with a break in between. It is not an arbitrary rule: it is what more than 20 years of teaching showed us works.

Many schools sell packages of 2, 4, 8 or 12 hours. We decided not to. Our programs are built from private three-hour sessions, and there is a reason behind it.

Two 90-minute blocks

A session is not three hours straight in the water. It is two 90-minute coaching blocks with a short break in between. Ninety minutes is enough to work on one clear goal with full concentration, and short enough that it does not turn into fatigue.

The break is coaching too

During the break you rest in the shade, rehydrate and have a snack. Above all, we talk: what went well, what to correct, what we are looking for in the second block. When there are photos, we look at them together. Often, the second block is where things start to click.

One session a day

We coach a maximum of three hours a day. Learning to kitesurf is physical and mental: your body needs to recover and your head needs a night to sort out what you learned. That is why PROGRESS is two days and COMPLETE is three.

Structure, with flexibility

If conditions are perfect and you are flowing, your instructor can adapt the rhythm. If you need more recovery, the break can be longer. And if you have a flight to catch, we fit the session around it. Structure creates quality; flexibility makes it personal.
